Section 15.2

DeBoard II Help

You can set the duration, speed and direction of the image movement. There are three sections on this option page. Drag the navy blue splitters to size the individual sections.

The Top Image Section contains the following options:

Play Time, set the total time all images are show when playiong your project.

Air Brakes, Applies a gradual slow down when using the wipe or split transitions.

Use Markers, to Synchronize text and image playing.

Marker Character, This is the marker delimiter used in your text files.

Skip Button, Skip playing still and AVI files. This button also prevents the image box from appearing on the ALIGN screen.

Each of the three image sections contain the following options:

Transition Button, use one of the nine transition and transform types for still image files in each image box.

Stretch Button, stretch still and AVI file to fit the image display box.

Import Button, import a folder of images.

Delay Slider, control the transform or transition speed.

The following Image page options are defined in this section.

Images can be Bitmaps, Jpeg and MCI compatible AVI files (*.jpg",*.jpg,*.avi).

The play time, wipe selection (transform) and speed of images is also adjusted from this page.

Image files can be faded in, wiped in and out, split in and out, or displayed without a transform method.

In addition, images can be linked to specific text objects text when being played. This will provide a sychronized Text and Image display. Using both Image and Audio markers sychronized to a text object can present a professional live display that rivals many pre-recorded advertising-broadcast video segments. Right click on an image list to invoke the popup menu for that image list.
