Using Insert Audio Marker is the easy
way to syncronize Text and Audio.
Discussion: Audio markers are a special tag that you insert into your text file. The Audio marker tag is used to tell DeBoard that it must play a particular Audio file when playing a particular text word or phrase. The Audio markers work only in Text Box object #1. The Audio marker tag contains a delimiter or marker character, a number that represents the Audio file position in the Audio list and a closing delimiter marker character. The marker character default is a "&", you can change this character in the Audio Page to any alpha character you choose. To use Audio markers: Place your cursor on text box #1 where you would like the Audio marker to be placed and click the left mouse button. Next, right click your mouse and the Text Objects popup menu will show. Click Insert Audio Marker, this option will bring up Audio list #1. On the Audio list #1, double click the Audio you want to show when the marked text is playing. This should be done after you have added the Audio file names to the Audio list #1. If you insert or delete Audio file names from the list, you may need to remove and re-insert the Audio markers. Be sure to save the text file as the Audio markers are now part of the text file. Also, save the project so that the Audio list will also be saved. |
