DeBoard II Help
The Static Text Boxes are is used to display static text. That is; text that is not changes by a user text file or user entries while playing. The same editing capabilities are inherent with this object where applicable as with Text objects 1-3.

Static Text Boxes, a brief description.

Main Title
The Main Title and Sub Title box can be positioned on any of the four monitors DeBoard can use. The text for the Main and Sub titles can be transparent, therefore allowing image backgrounds to show through. Set the Transparent using the Project Settings [Transparent Titles] option. The text can also use a drop shadow of the outline color used in the Crawl Text Object. The amount of shadow is set automatically with the font size being used. To use a drop shadow on a static text title, check the < Use Shadows option in the combination check boxes in the Static Text Boxes area.
Clock Date
When this box is used, the date is displayed with month, day, and year. When this box is not checked, only the time is displayed. The Clock Date box will display a long date and time or just the short version of the time. To use a Long Date-Time, check the Use Long Date option in the combination check boxes in the Static Text Boxes area. The text for the time box is added in front of the time when DeBoard is playing. Example: Make sure Long Date is NOT checked then enter "The Time Is:" in the Clock - Date box. The display will look like: "The Time Is: 8:30:24 am" when DeBoard is playing, The time is update once a second when Long Date is not being used, and once a second is when Long Date is used.
Temperature
If you are using W9X-ME, and have a TempTrax temperature probe installed, you can used the Temperature box to display the live temperature. This box is updated once per minute when DeBoard is running. The first text for the temperature box is added in front of the temperature display. The second text for the temperature box is added after the temperature display, when DeBoard is playing. Example: "The Temperature Is:" in the first Temperature box and "Degrees" in the second temperature box. The display will look like: "The Temperature Is: 72 Degrees" when DeBoard is playing,

No Frame
The No Frames option will ignore the frame settings for the Static Text Box objects and will not draw frames on the display screen for the static text objects.
Use Shadows
This option will add a drop shadow to both the Main and Sub Title text. The color is the Crawl Line Outline Color.
Use Long Date This option will add the proper "Month" and "Day" (June, Saturday) to the Clock Date display.
