The horizontal sizing slider will change the size of the editor box, the boxes margins and the display width of the text object while playing. The Delay slider will increment or decrement the speed delay that is added to the scrolling text object. Most readable speed delays are around 40-60. The Skip button is used to prevent playing and aligning of the text object. You can keep the text and the text attributes in the project with out actually playing them. This option is used mostly for object alignment on multiple monitors. The Static button will display the text of the text object when playing but will not change, scroll or flip. This option is meant for static text only. The Flip button will display the text of the text object using a flipping method. This option when selected and playing, will 1) Display as much text that will fit in the text objects display box at one time; 2) Then pause for the amount of the delay in seconds; 3) Clear the text box and start over at number #1 above. |
