Using image markers is one of the many
strengths of DeBoard. By using image
markers you can synchronize both images
and text to to play a live informational show.
Examples are included with the original
DeBoard package.
Depending on the version of DeBoard you
have installed, they may included some text
and pictures from the Grand Canyon USA in
the default demo project. The pictures are
synchronized with the text in that certain
images will appear when certain text is been
shown on the play screen.
To use image markers, right click on the text
where and when you want the picture to
appear and click Insert Image Marker.
This will show the image list assigned to the
Text object. (I.e. Text object 1 uses Image
List 1, Text object 2 uses Image List 2, etc)
Click on the image file name in the image
list. This will insert the image marker and
number of the image from the image list into
the text.
If you are using a slow image transition, or
the image is very large and needs to be
resized, the image will be skipped if the
image player is still busy when asked to
display the next "marked" image during play.
To see how this works, use the None
image transform until you are comfortable
with the timing of using text and images
together. TIP: Use no more than one image
per line of text.
