Using MS DirectX capture devices is easy
with DeCrawler. The bottom section of the
Controls Page , Video Capture
Input contains threee options for DirectX
Video capture input. They are the DirectX
Capture Devices, Options and
Skip Video Input .
When you start DeCrawler a check is
performed that looks for an MS DirectX
(version 8 or higher) installation. If it passes,
the devices that are found are added to the
DirectX Capture Devices list pull
down. To use a video capture device as
part of your display, click the list pull down
and select the device to use. If there are
basic options provided by the device driver,
you can use the Options button to
show the device option page. The Options
page can be invoked wihile the device is
playing. The Skip button is used to
bypass or skip playing of the DirectX
Capture Devices window in DeCrawler.
