LitePrompter4 Help
Click on the About LitePrompter option from the main menu Help menu. The about box has a BPP setting displayed. The BPP is your current Bits Per Pixel setting.

The BPP caption should be 8, or 16 but not 24 or 32, if you are having slow speed problems. On the other hand, if your display is too fast and you can not slow it down, change your display to 24 or 32 bit. This will force the CPU and graphics card to work a little harder and take longer. Or, use the Sync w Retrace option if using W95, W98 or ME.

If the BPP caption is not 8, use the [Start] [Settings] [Control Panel] [Display Settings] option in windows to change to the 256 color display mode.

If this does not improve the scrolling speed please buy a newer computer or video card with 16+ megs of vram with 64 bit video.
