This label will indicate if your current
windows display mode is 256 color or
True-Hi Color.
| Try 256 Colors will change
your windows desktop color resolution. The
change is not permanent. This option will
NOT update your registry Window Display
Settings as the Control Panel Change
Display Settings will. This option will ask
your video driver if a 256 color mode with
the same screen resolution (size) is
available. If so, the option will automatically
change to the available 256 color display
mode. If the 256 color mode does not exist,
nothing will happen when clicking this option.
Once you have changed the display modes
using this option, the option will provide the
ability to change back to the previous
display mode. When you exit LitePrompter,
you will be asked if you want to revert back
to the original LitePrompter startup display
mode.
