Use Multiple Monitors automatically.
If you have a second monitor connected as a separate monitor, it can be used automatically as the Talent or Image display.  See the included tutorial for setup tips.

 Synchronized Slide Show with Text and Audio
The slide show option plays full screen images on the second monitor while reading the script from the primary monitor.  Simple to use, just insert an image marker into the teleprompter script to indicate when to play the image.  Each Image Marker will play a different image.  This option Uses generic windows bitmap images, (TIP: Power Point Slides can be saved in this format for playback in StudioPrompter 3.
 
Second Monitor Talk Back
Communicate with the Talent in real-time during the scrolling text. Plus, this option also provides the script and session reading elapsed time on the talent monitor.

Operator monitor controls display on primary monitor.
When using a second monitor you have complete control of the session from the operator monitor. The talent will not see the program interface, just the controlled smooth scrolling text.

Rundown List and 8 Alternate files
Standard user definable rundown list lets you change the run order while playing script files. Another feature, the Alternate file options permit you to continuously play 1 of 8 script files by pressing a single function key

The demo version is fully functional.The only restriction is the logo that scrolls every sixth line. Open the Welcome text file and the ReadMe.txt file for requirements and instructions.  A 2.4 meg  self extracting EXE will provide an install and un-install wizard. For primo results use a 640x480 screen with 256 colors.

 
This has been reported reported for  Windows XP Pro. Error message claims there are missing DLL files. With the current versions as of Feb 20 2008. Click to locate the DLL files you are missing. Vista has the DLL files included.

Software Description
This is the software that most new prompter software's on the market are modeled after. StudioPrompter was developed for the multi-monitor teleprompter in your studio back in 1997-98 and it was the first prompter on the market that used dual monitors on all windows platforms. Using multiple monitors frees up the talent to do what they do best and puts YOU in control. Even though StudioPrompter was designed for two person operation, the talent and teleprompter operator, it can also  be used by a single person very easily. 

Using two monitors, the operator can run the session without the talent knowing or seeing any of the behind the scenes teleprompter operations. The operator console provides all of the functionality of StudioPrompter even while the talent is reading the teleprompter copy. The speed, colors, text files and scroll direction can be changed as the text being scrolled on the second monitor. StudioPrompter also uses RTF (rich text files) for scrolling content. All color and formatting can be used to organize your teleprompting sessions. 

Multiple document scrolling provides you with all the options to shoot multiple talent  talking head segments like a PRO! Using multiple script documents allows you to assign a different document to each member of the talent team (up to 8). The [Alt Files] option is essentially a "run list". The "run list" documents can have different background and font colors to let the talent know when it's their turn to read. Then there is a unlimited [Run List] that can be changed while scrolling text.
Using the full version un-licensed shareware will show the product name that is randomly added to your text while scrolling.
